I have used both belly and 3 point mowers on other tractors. I get the annoyances and benefits of the two types. My question is this: I have a really soft yard. Which is less likely to tear up the turf when turning? Has anyone tried both on the B2601?

To me it drills down to low hanging trees and bushes. If you have alot of them in the yard the 3pt can be a huge asset to get under them without getting ripped of the tractor. If not, the belly is way easier and generally more adjustable. I use my belly 90% of the time. I do not notice any turf tear differences between them but sometimes there is a lot more cussing with the 3pt.
