Sirs,

My wife wants her own small (cabbed with heat/AC) tractor for mowing (flail) and snow blowing (front attached).

I am trying to narrow the field; I am a current Kubota owner (L5030) so I of course first looked at the B3030HSDCC.

I see that Bobcat has pickup up the Kioti line and so my question (I guess) would be towards either brand. How does the CT335 model (with cab and FEL) compare to the Kubota B3030HSDCC? Is it still an apple to apple comparison?

Thank you.

I see that Kioti is advertising cab versions of their ck line coming out later this year. The ck30 and ck35 would be comparable in the cab model when it becomes available. Bobcat may be offering them also, but I have not seen them advertise it yet. Maybe a call to some dealers may be in order? The 335 is a little beefier tractor, but it is still quite maneuverable and operator friendly.

From what I have been able to find, it is a heat only cab...

We live in -15 to -30F winters and +104F summers, so full service HVAC is a mandatory option.

And call is correct. Or closest dealers are about 130 miles one way.

I am relatively certain that there are no other OEM cabbed tractors as small as the B3030. The Bobcat CT335 is waaaaaay more tractor than the B3030 and as was mentioned, the Kioti CKs are not air conditioned at this time and are also larger than the B3030. If the B3030 is the size that you want, then that is your sole choice as far as I know of.

Brian,

"waaaaaay more..."

How much waaaay? 1/3 bigger, 1/2...?

I have never seen either in person and the closest orange has no 3030's to see, and the closest white colored dealer are 260 round trip.

Thanks for the help.

B3030
54" wide 99" long
weighs 2271lbs

CT335
62.6"wide 129" long
weighs 3668lbs without cab. No cab weight listed

I had forgotten about the new Mahindra 3616, but it is more in line with the CT335.

I think that there are several others to be considered if you are willing to move up to the CT335 size. Kioti, John Deere, Massey, Kubota, Mahindra. You would just have to do some research.

I do not know this for a fact, but I would guess that the John Deere 3320 would be a great place to start. Your wife would surely enjoy it.
