The 4320 in the photo was the only 4x20 series the dealer had in stock, already sold to a government school in Monterey county to mow their lawns, and not much else, hence the Turf tires.
I've just about come to the conclusion that a 4720 will meet my needs just about 95% of the time on my hillside hobby farm. If I need something larger, I can rent, an excavator for example.
Since I'll only need a backhoe on occaision, a 4720 with cab makes sense, particularly when the humidity and temperature are at their peak in summer.
Then, again, leaving off the cab will go a long way towards funding a backhoe.
As for the 5x25 series, they're certainly capable tractors, with the capacity to do far more than I'd ever ask of them while owning 11 acres. That's the rub, I just don't need that kind of power, not to mention expense of initial purchase AND operating cost.
That's where I am today, 4720 w/backhoe or 4720 w/cab and everything else but a backhoe. This isn't easy, at least looking is relatively low cost. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
