Compatible Front Mount Snow Blower for Massey Ferguson GC1700

Hello. I'm new to this site but I have been using this site for a few years now.

Posting my first enquiry.

I currently own a MF GC1710 TLB. I am looking to purchase a front mount snow blower, but a new one up here in Canada runs around $6500.

Looking for a good used MF unit but there are very few out there. Though I am seeing some used ones from John Deere, Kubota.

Does anyone know if any other manufacturers units fit a MF? I can't find anything on line to confirm or deny.

If your already running into that amount of Canadian loonies fora 2 stage
snow blower you should look at the RAMMY 155 commercial single stage
snowblower with the 12+ horsepower gas engine if you want a front mount
that you could mount on your loaders mounting plate if it
has an SSQA.

AS you have a hydrostatic mule with a rear 540 RPM power take off you will
be better served with a Pronovost Puma 48 inch 2 stage snowblower by
loading your tires with liquid ballast and investing in snow chains.

You would have to remove the back hoe and reinstall the three point hitch.
You would have to remove the front end loader to install the underframe
mount for a 2 stage snow blower in any case and also install the gear box
or speed reducing reversing chain PTO shaft and sprockets for the 2 stage
snow blower to use the 2,000 rpm mid mount PTO for the snowblower.

The RAMMY 155 commercial snow blower is probably the easier way to deal with
your snow as it requires less work to deal with and is much less complicated to
deal with mechanically and you can keep your backhoe for ballast weight.

There are a lot of videos of the RAMMY snow blowers being used in deep snow on youtube.

The V belt drive and slip clutch allow for better operation and easy repairs if you need a V belt.
