Concern with B2710 & L3010 purchase

i am a bit confused. how can u compare a 2910 to a 3010?? there is a big difference. while i am not an expert to that exact numbers and specs. the L-series machine is a muchmore capable machine than a b-series machine... forget the horsepower.. if u are worried about strength issues you already answered your question, buy the l-seriers machine.. IMO a way nice machine anyhow...

We've sold tens of the B2710 and have had exactly zero transmission failures. We have sold several BX series and have had zero problems other than having to replace the reserve tank under an update. I've always heard that you can tell how good a tractor is by asking the mechanic who works on them. Our mechanics love Kubota because they seldom have to work on them. I'm sure New Holland is a wonderful machine. However, you cannot convince me that they are anywhere close to a Kubota. From initial machine quality to parts and warranty service after the sale, Kubota is the complete package. Maybe after the Boomers have had more time to prove themselves, my views will change. For now, I'll just be content taking them in on trade for our Kubotas.

Hi Rick,
Ref B2400/B2410/B2710/and B2910 transmissions...
We've had zero failures related to any drive train issues. Maybe, three or four small issues that were caused by improper assembly and all coorrected after being isolated with minor adjustments or service time.
This includes several hundred units in all types of conditions and useage.

There are plenty of reasons to choose one model over the other, but at this time, "the dependably factor or promise" is as good for one as the other from our prospective.
The dependability promise is "Great".
