Concrete deck/carport leaking

I do not know if your area is subject to freeze/thaw cycles like we have here in Wisconsin. If you do, you should not redirect the water, but eliminate it from the slab. The freezing water will break apart the concrete over time, and you will have to pay to remove and replace.
