The 12' walls do have a bunch ( I know that is a very vague term) of rebar in them and somewhere I do have photo's of that. The 12' walls ( retaining walls) also have two 14'' wide x 4' deep x 10' tall buttresses poured into the design also. I'm almost not overly concerned that the walls have a problem, but I just didn't know how common this problem, perceived or not was.

20 years ago I was a cement finisher at a nuclear power plant where I am a firefighter today. The highly engineered 4' thick walls we poured have a double mat of #22 rebar spaced 16" on center. That's 2 3/4" rebar. Today many of the walls have cracks. No perceivable displacement, just cracks. Concrete has a long curing time, measured in years, not days or weeks. Chances are that your cracks are from shrinkage and will not get much worse. A good caulking will probably take care of any adverse consequences.
