Smooth floor/broomed apron. The finishing crew was top notch, IMO. They were agreeable to any finish we wanted. After thinking about our (my) master plan, which includes new walkways, exposed aggregate wasn't going to do it. The finishers did make the apron look like the slab before they broomed. There are more grooved expansion joints. I had them put about a 1/2" of slope from back to front. The drip ledge for the doors was their idea, but I really like it.
I was a little worried at first. The first concrete truck showed up before the finish crew (they ordered 20 yards) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The other thing that bothers me is where did all the concrete go? Should have been about 19 yards ending up pouring 21.5 yards. If I would have poured this myself, I would have been in trouble. As it was, they just called for a short load and pressed on.
MikePA: Resized another too wide, inline picture to 640.
