Condensation in gauges/meters

Is there anyway to get the moisture out and seal the gauges again?

Same as with a phone that is recovered from the toilet: take the rear cover off of, if that is not possible, carefully make a small (1/8" or 3mm or so) hole in the rear, put it in an oven at abt 130F/60C for a few days (3 or 4 @24hrs will do, but do not put it directly over or under the heating element!), close the small hole with hot melt and check where the moisture got in to begin with. More often than not it leaks there where the glass joins the gauge body (you can move the glass around a bit) or where the cable connectors come in. If it is not an obvious leak then it is from longer term condensation but the remedy is the same. Seal that with some silicone, well pressed into the cracks. Then put the back cover on again, check whether it fits tightly against the front bezel and seal the cracks around the connector(s). If the gauge is fixed to the panel with a U-shaped bridge, don't tighten that too much because you may again pull a crack between the front bezel and the rear cover.
