Hey! Thanks for the kind words guys! I have to say I feel a little "unworthy" and humbled by the attention and being "rounded up" along with the others that have been profiled here on TBN. I still feel like I haven't "earned my wings" or paid my dues. This is a great site with a bunch of great folks. I've learned a lot here and appreciate all that has been shared.
Yes, you're right Jim we sure could use some rain. Two of the four ponds (the oldest and shallowest) are practically dry. They are mainly (as you fellows in Texas say) tanks for our livestock. The other two are newer and deeper and hold water pretty good. We attempted a few years back to dig out one of them but reached a pretty big shelf of sandrock and called it quits. I'm having to use the waterers in those pastures where there's livestock and no water. But that's life here on the "ranch".
Again, thanks to Muhammud and his group, as well as all the folks here on TBN, it's been a great ride like going slowly, travelling down that two rut pasture road, heading out to do some "work" with the tractor on a beautiful fall or spring morning!
