/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif What 'turmoil and bickering'?? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

What we have here are attempts to communicate our various, often contrasting, opinions in a clear opinionated ("Holding stubbornly and often unreasonably to one's own opinions.") manner rather than some mushy PC 'IMHO' bologna!!

When I read a post with the words 'IMHO', 'maybe', 'perhaps', 'might', 'could', or 'should', I discount that information as being from someone who hasn't even convinced himself yet!!

All I know is that our buddy Fourteen loves to mix things up, and I wonder how his posts would look if he was denied the use of the exclamation point. It reminds me a little of being in Thailand. I'm convinced that if you removed the horns from the automobiles over there, no one would be able to drive.(!) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Always fun to read TBN.

Remember, Patrick Henry said: "Give me liberty, or give me death!!".

He did NOT say: "Excuse me, Your Majesty, but if you have a moment, I would like to humbly implore you to condescend to grant me just a little bit of liberty at your earliest convenience, if that wouldn't be too much trouble for you."!!!!

That's the kind of 'sugar coating' that I find objectionable, not plain spoken statements and opinions!!!!

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I can only end sentences with the 'exclamation point'!! Since my wife will turn 71 next month, I live in a 'period' free zone!!!!

My wife is going thru that "change" era /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif....which equates to more time on the PT to stay out of the firing zone! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would've guessed that it meant "all wet" and slightly acidic -- the prime conditions for moss to grow... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
