thanks for the advice.. my NH TC-29 is 29 hp, is that comparible to your tractor? Also, if I had a splitter built without an independant valve.... do you think the FEL controls would operate the splitter ram direct when hooked up to the FEL quick connects?

Your plan sounds fine. It will work the way you want, It may me a little slow because volume of the cylinder, but it will work.
