I just read this interesting article on MS-NBC news page about fraudulent e mails and how the crooks have become so good at fooling people that it is now become a major problem. They have a link to a test page where you can take the test to see if you will be fooled. I have seen many of the examples that they showed, so I had an advantage in knowing about them. I got a perfect score, but that doesn't mean that I couldn't be fooled at some time in the future. Take the test and let us know how you faired. It shouldn't take much more than 15 minuted to complete. Just click on the word "link" in the above sentence. I was going to copy and paste the original article to the forums, but didn't know if that would be proper since it is a copyright protected story.

I got a 90% and quite frankly, was surprised I got that high.

My mother is always doing things on internet, "because it told me to" /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, thanks for this, I think I'll send it on to her so she might get an idea of what I've been trying to tell her.

I got a 100% but I was surprised that I got that high. I normally delete e-mails that I don't realize and if any information requires verification, I normally give the company a call to see what's what.

I got 80%. I guess that's not too bad considering I havn't seen many of them.
