I'll tell you mine...For years when i wasn't doing line work
(being a travlin linemancan be very sporadic...thats why the big canvas bags we keep all of our tools in are called "drag bags"..unless somone <a href="mailto
is@@@">pis@@@</a> us off and we decide to "drag up " early /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif or we heard af a job with more $$$ /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif then when the project is over we've gotta drag up) I would cut down trees on the side ..U know ...the ones over the back porch, garage,electrical , phone & cable, services...and sometimes even primary power /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif so when u git the tree down on the ground it's gotta go somewhere right... usually the dump unless hardwood of course.....so the cut up chunks of wood go in the back of the pickup and the brush goes in my utility trailer that is 5' x10' and has 4' high sides...now most may think that u con't git much brush in something like tht but there's a great trick to it...I lay an old piece of riding/climbing rope in the bottom that is tied into an oblong circle witn the two ends draping over the front of the trailer and the other end over the heavy duty 3/4" plywood tailgate...next 4' pieces of libs are laid onto the rope ever 2' or so going crossways with the trailer...fill her ;up to the top and then jump in with the big csaw and cut her down to the almost bottom every 1' or so= a bunch o short pieces that settle neatly..dont try this with a metal bottomed or sided trailer niless very careful /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(to the brim with huge chunks of pine very neatly stacked...really helps with the uno ....traction thing) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif anyway there goes mike helter skelter with the ropes jist a strainin..and then the load starts slidin out and one of the bottom logs must've kicked sideways as the soad seemed to stall...mikes still givin her hell!!!! Mud flyin everywhere and up comes the back end of the toy and down goes the back of the trailer...the muds still flyin from the front tires only as the backs are bout three feet in the air!!! the load slips and out it flies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWWHHHHHAAAAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOWN COMES THE REAR END OF THE TRUCK AND FRONT OF THE TRAILER

Anyway ...**** i've got tears in my eyes and can barely even see the key bord......in answer to your ???do dump trucks ever tip over???? do the 1 tons with dump bodies ever tip over??? 2 weeks ago when the town was giving me my free fill the youngest of our town guys was drivin the 1 ton dump and i had to run over and bang on his window ...his front end was bout to come off the ground!!!!! and told him he'd better set it down and open his dumpgate!!!! he looked at me with big eyes and asid OOOOPPPSSSS!!! I smiled and said " don't worry ..jist dont let it happen again cuz my tax dollars pay for that truck!!! he said cool dude ..i told him i'd hate to see him bout 8' in the air...and to damage our truck /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That kid kinda reminds me of mike and myself too when i was first workin round heavy equip /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
