Converting a bumper pull to gooseneck??

I have friends that use gooseneck trailers and would never go back to the bumper tow system. They have told me that they are much more comfortable with the goose neck. They do have problems once in a while backing them up for some reason. None of them are conversions so I can't help you there.

You have got to explain this one. What auto tranny before 2003 that came behind a 460 has this ability without cooking this P$$$ out of it.

Oh back on topic I would buy some GN trailer plans and use the prints for your conversion process.
I can understand completely why you would want to do this.

Wushaw, sorry can't explain, just repeating what it says in my manual. It also says that it is PTO ready but I have never checked on either of these issues. All I know for sure is that I have worked the crap out of this truck for a couple of years and it sure works great. The only problem I have ever had is keeping gas in it. I dilivered a jeep to MO a couple of weeks ago and the round trip cost me $400.00. Bhh
