Hi,
I was hoping to get some ideas from the forum to solve a problem. It's a good problem to have because I just got a new B2320 and now I need to make my old snow plow work on it. I previously had a Kubota BX for which I had a snow plow fabricated with a hydraulic cylinder to angle the blade. To achieve this I would disconnect the BX's single dump cylinder and hook the plow cylinder in it's place. This setup is almost identical to the product sold by Curtis (link to thread with picture of Curtis plow: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/135016-bx-fel-snow-plow.html). The plow is mounted on the loader arms and pivots freely. The plow is held in place by a chain attached to the loader.
Yesterday I bought a Kubota B2320 which has two dump cylinders as opposed to the BX's single. I still want to use the plow, but I'm looking for the easiest way to make it work. This is the only idea I have so far, please let me know if it sounds do-able...
1) Disconnect both dump cylinders on the loader. Mount plow to loader arms similarly to BX setup.
2) On the right dump cylinder I'll run the lines to the single plow cylinder just as I did on the BX.
3) On the left side I was thinking I could 'close off' the line with some sort of end caps. Would this work? I don't know much about hyrdaulics... And do they sell 'end caps' to screw onto the hyrdaulic lines?
Sorry if this isn't clear. I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow and draw what I'm talking about. I would really appreciate any insight!
Thanks!
