I am interested to know if anyone has done this in the past, and how well it would work.
I have a BX2380 with FEL and QA bucket. If I was to remove all hardware from the boxblade and weld a QA plate to the rear of boxblade to use as a snow pusher. How well would that work?

I have a 3 pt snowblower as well, and get considerable snow.

I don't think it would work too well;no angle adjustment or trip.I would look for an ATV five footer for a BX.

What size and weight is the box blade? If not to heavy it should work? Why remove the hardware I think it would be nice to have the ability to use it on the 3 point or the quick hitch depending on what you are trying to do.

Good inventive idea! I'd probably fab some shoes on it as well.

I was going to remove hardware for the winter (reduce the weight), add skid shoes and have a QA welded on. I suspect the snowblower to be attached all season.

Its definitely doable, but not going to be ideal. A box blad is heavy compared to a snow plow, even stripped down. Witht he weight & no skid shoes you are likely to scrape gravel or dirt. It can't be angled obvously, which may or may not be an issue. Personally I do longer driveways so I'd be screwed without angle to roll the snow to the side. Also there is no trip edge so it's going to catch on obstacles if they are there, which could result in the loader arms getting tweaked.
