I am considering trying to convert an old ferguson fast hitch sickle bar mower to a three point attachment. Has anyone tried this or something similar ? I searched on here but had no luck.

Thanks helping

If I remember correctly, Fast-Hitch was proprietary to International and Ferguson was exclusively 3pt hitch. If your Ferguson mower isn't setup for 3pt, its probably pretty easy to convert back.

Please post some pictures...

Good luck.

Take off the fast hitch couplers and weld or bolt pieces of flat bar to the sides to attach the lower link pins. Attach two pieces of flat bar from the lower link sides to form a triangle to which you can attach the top link to. Look at just about any 3 point attachment and what you need to build will be pretty obvious. Copy the dimensions of a 3 point attachment too.
