I GIVE UP, THANKS ANYWAY ! What a can of worms! I thought in my posts that I expressed well enough that I am not interested in talking liability bs, I just was looking for tips on how to do it, or alternatives like just2fast suggested about rops from another bx.Sorry to get you all stirred up I will be more careful next time I post.
Don't give up, just ignore what you don't accept.
I'm not always successful, but I at least try to NOT get in a debate with a counter-post to those who disagree with what I post. I don't expect, or try, to win them over to my way of thinking.
Its a varied membership on TBN, others have different viewpoints on a subject, and that makes their posts all just as valid and worthy, in my opinion. Some choose to try to get others to change their mind and way of thinking, thus the launch of a debate.
So, my take is say what you feel and glean what you like from others' posts. Ignore what doesn't fit your style.
TBN has a lot to offer, I think because people tell it like it is (for them).
I'm interested in hearing ideas for converting ROPS to foldable. Sounds like a lot of work.
I didn't trade up on a JD because the newer model only came with a foldable ROPS and it was too high to get in my garage door. I had the ok from the dealer to switch the Foldable ROPS to my trade-in and keep my straight ROPS. It looked like it would work, but wasn't a shoe-in so decided not to trade up. (ps...I also didn't like the one-piece hood design on the JD 3720 for a second reason)
