I am looking to change my standard loader to quick attach. Who makes adapters for the 16LA or 17LA and what is the price range? I have seen the ATI Tach-All model on the internet but didn't ask the price. Does New Holland make something similar, and if so how much is it?

Thanks,
Mark

The New Holland quick attach is about 350.00 the ati quick attach is much more, like 575.00 list.

Thanks, I'll call my dealer. I don't guess NH makes a weld on plate so I can use my existing bucket. I can't afford a new bucket for a couple months, due to just buying a new gooseneck trailer. Eventually I want a grapple bucket; I am moving a lot of brush and trees.

Kasko makes a pin on adaptor for your bucket

That would be perfect. I assume my dealer should know how to order from them? Do you recall about what it cost?

Are quick attach units standardized? That is, can the ATI unit and NH unit share attachments? Are these Skid Steer type attachment devices and can they share Skid Steer attachments (buckets, plows, etc.)?

For instance, John Deere has something called Quik-Change on their buckets but I think this is specific to JD tractors. Does everyone do it differently?

Would you generally recommend this feature at the time of tractor purchase or is it better to wait and see if we need it?

Thank You.

I didn't get it when I bought - figured why spend the extra money for something I'll probably never need or want .... oops /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif From someone who doesn't have a quick attach loader ... get one at time of purchase - save time & money.

About all the newer stuff has the same Q-T except some of the Deere CUT loaders.
If u didn't want to go the adapter route on your bucket, about all the manufactures sell mount plates that are welded to the back of bucket or anyting else to use on Q-T.
Bobcat has a plate for $75 +/-.
The only thing better than the SSL Q-T is one w/ hydraulic locks.

You always have to be carefull when talking about quick attaches. For instance the large Kubota FEL use their own quick attach that isn't anything like the skid steer quick attach.

Now days generally most aftermarket attachments that aren't built for huge equipment that say quick attach are the standard skid steer quick attach, sometimes called the universal quick attach. Once you have that adaptor on the FEL the choices of implements are huge. I would suggest anyone thinking about a FEL getting the universal quick attach.

And hoeman00 is absolutely correct that a hydraulic hookup is super neat.

Is the New Holland quick attach device considered to be the universal type (standard skid steer type)?

A couple New Holland dealers quoted me $450 (installed) for this option and a Kubota dealer quoted me $800 (installed).

Where can I find more information about the Kasko adaptor?
