Jinman........ I bought my wife a tractor 3 years ago and it has been in the garage ever since I brought it home. Been in there so long that it is covered with dust and the battery has gone dead. She just refuses to even get on it for a simple ride. I leave it there just so she can't say any more about the tractors. In fact, when I bought the BX, she was actually encouraging me to make the purchase, not that I really needed it. I have learned that the easiest thing to do in most instances is to either buy her a similar item at the same time or get her a piece of jewelry. That always seems to work for me and the jewelry is always the less expensive way to go. The one bad thing about retirement is that now she expects me to do all the other "womanly" things like clean the house, cook, shop for groceries, etc. Retirement isn't all that it is cracked up to be around here..... It is amazing how fast my hearing has gone bad!!!!!!!! Being single is definitely less expensive and a whole lot better in many instances. Good thing that she doesn't read this site...... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I was only joking when I suggested that we get married..... only thing is that she wasn't when she made the wedding plans. One of the best pictures of our wedding is me sitting on the steps waiting for the service to begin with my head in my hands looking like I just lost my best friend...... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I just hate to admit that I wouldn't ever want to give her up...... just have her go away for a day or two for a little peace and solitude....
