Cool morning

Got up and looked at the thermometer, 34 degrees/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif. Left the windows in the house open and the house was 64 degrees. They say some spots could have picked up some frost. I hope not, to early for the vegggie and flower gardens. Did anybody get close to frost this morning?

Derek, it was 40 degrees/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif this morning when I got up at 5:30, in upstate NY, just over the border from southern (Bennington) Vermont. A little too cool for this time of year,/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif but luckily no frost. A lot of wild looking fog rolling off the hills though!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Just north of Malone, NY in Quebec. The house was 59 degrees this morning. The tile floor in the bathroom was a shocker! No frost, but pretty close. The windows on the pick-up were all fogged up. There was also light fog coming off the river.

Yeah, we had a cool front come through, too, I guess. 72 this morning instead of 78 and only 90 when I finished mowing the yard instead of 100./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Just perfect in Pennsylvania today. Around 79 degrees with a low around 60. It's been a wonderful July - only a few days in the 90s.

Makes me wonder if I should expect a hellish August ... I hope not.

Dang right it was cold that mornin'. Later that day found both a pepper and a squash that had froze n' turned black.
