bullbreaker - that young fellow has a very nice largemouth.

Yes around here for the monsters we use giant rubber worms grape or black the bigger the better like Manns or Culprits .
On days when nothing is biteing and if your in semi open water were you wont snag your lure on a branch or weeds etc if you can still find them . The Bill Dances "eel" I think its called has produced more monster largemouths . It looks like a giant rubber tadpole with a treble hook under it . Fish that also in big deep lakes in open water and hang on good to your pole .
BTW I dont have a pig in the Bill Dance race .

Lakes high in the Rockies often have an amazing blue look when seen from above. They are crystal clear. My unscientific guess is the reflection of the blue sky....

This is California Lake in West Central Colorado. Elevation 10K-ish.

Walked out the tack room door and saw a bullfrog. The wood trim is 3.5 inches wide:

Some of my shots from North Park (North of Pittsburgh, PA) on Saturday.
Starting to see some more color now that temps are increasing.
As always, click to enlarge!

Baltimore Orioles
Double-Crested Cormorants perched on a log.
A Barn Swallow swooping in eating bugs off the surface of a stream. He was super quick. (I think he missed his bug in the second shot.)
A Great Blue Heron perched on a log.
