This is cool . But they want 350 for it. Seems like it would be easy to build just a trip down to the old u-pull-it just yard and 30 mins with a welder

Be careful that you don't accidentally install it upside down or it might pick you up off the seat and trim your hair at the same time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

My brothers old boss had a bunch of draglines and latice boom Koerhing cranes they used in the bridge buildingbusiness and one job he felt bad for an older gent that ran them. We made some of those fans for the old Koerhings. They work good another good and compact unit is the dual sleeper fan blowers they throw some wind out. I may find an old RedDot over the Cab AC unit for my mini excavator this fall. Or go with the sleeper blowers.

The fan looks like nothing more than a 12 v radiator cooling fan used to replace the stock fans. Wouldn't take much to make one!

If the fan came with top-n-tilt, you could point it down hill to keep from tipping, and point it up to give more traction, and point it down to keep from compressing the delicate lawn, and point it back to keep the dust from blowing over you while you disc or rake.

One side affect to having a good fan is that it makes the mosquitoes work harder to get to your knuckles.

Add a little mister to spray a little cool water over you every 30 seconds, and you'd be pretty close to air conditioning.

If you decide to make one, Pictures would be in order. Looking forward to seeing it.
