AndyM, here is another cordless grease gun for comparison, the Alemite. The specks are a little better than the Lincoln and it has a few more features if you want to spend only about a hundred more. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Having a power cord to hook up and then drag around would, for me, defeat the purpose of the cordless grease gun. The whole idea of a cordless grease gun is portability and convenience.
Tehy sort of look like the Dewalt batteries will work. On the battery life, based on my experience the average cordless tool battery life is about 3 years with 5 being the longest I have had one survive. It seems that most times when the battery quits the replacement is no longer available and I have to buy a whole new drill or whatever /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I have a old grease gun that has the rigid stem. I have to apply a fare amount of pressure on the fitting while using it. Do the guns with the flexible hose require the use of one hand to hold the hose tight to the fitting while the other hand controls the grease trigger? If so it sounds like the rigid stem guns would be a lot easier to use. Am I missing something /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
