Cordless telephones?

The last place I got them was, I believe, CordlessGuys.com. The prior time was one of those Yahoo Shops.

In both cases (three handsets), they came from the same place, ultimately. The online sellers just take your money and have them drop-shipped from the refurbishing "factory".

Be sure to keep all your paperwork and check it out as soon as you get it; charge it up and make sure it registers with the base. That is where the problems I experienced seemed to be; either the battery circuitry was not working right, or even if charged it wouldn't register.

I am skeptical any actual "refurbishing" is done to them, other than providing a new set of batteries, but they did exchange the bad ones.

AARGH - the last two cradles went out yesterday. I'm trying to decide whether to replace them or not. I'll probably just stew a while. I pulled the Panasonic KBX out of the attic a few weeks ago. The phones are rock solid and they stay where you put them /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
