Thats a great novelty item that I'd probly drag home too. But nothing jumps out at me in regards to use.

I wouldn't let 'cool factor' be too great a consideration. I also wouldn't assume ease just because some you-tuber edited out the gristly bits of his build. We'll ooh and aah your project from the peanut gallery ... while you invest your own time and resource$ until it's done, or you explain why it isn't. Other than utilities access, is that really the best place you'd want the cabin to be? You might be promulgatiing a hobby that will keep you single for a long time.

Richard, I'd bet that two-story wasn't built from an old or abandoned bin, unless the TV show that sponsored it paid to have all the panels re-plated. ;) The way metal expands and contracts with temps, I can just imagine how much fun it'd be to ladder-up to re-caulk the window openings every few yrs. jon

Yeah, look at the interior pic. It's very deceiving. The exposed tin certainly isn't the outer wall of the bin.

I once toured a dome house in Wisconsin. Built using poured concrete. Looked cool from the outside. Horribly wasteful on the inside. Makes for great conversation though. Can I sit by you in the peanut gallery?? :)
