Should I germinate corn seeds before planting?

No, seeds directly into the ground... where are you from? It might be a little late to plant corn...

Welcome to TBN, - Questions should not be posted in the "New member forum" although, they are asked many times... you just might not get many people reading and replying to it... :ashamed: vs. "Related Topics forum"

Hope it's less the 75 day corn!!!! It doesn't grow past ninety degree's so you could have trouble.

In Ky, We planted "Hickory Cane" up to the 4th of July with no problem. I don't know if you can still find it today. Ken Sweet

We planted about an inch deep. If you have enough seeds, you can do a seed germination test. Lay out 10 or so seeds between a couple layers of wet paper towels at 70 degrees or so, see how many sprout.
