Corn

No, seeds directly into the ground... where are you from? It might be a little late to plant corn... :confused:

Hope it's less the 75 day corn!!!! It doesn't grow past ninety degree's so you could have trouble.

Thanks...bought 68 day seeds today...Spokane County WA...my first planting did not come up...I made mounds and planted it...no more mounds I guess...plus we had lots of rain.
 
In Ky, We planted "Hickory Cane" up to the 4th of July with no problem. I don't know if you can still find it today. Ken Sweet
 
We planted about an inch deep. If you have enough seeds, you can do a seed germination test. Lay out 10 or so seeds between a couple layers of wet paper towels at 70 degrees or so, see how many sprout.
