Yep!!!! My wife and I race our basically stock vehicles at the local 1/8 mile track. Somehow she cheats and beats my reaction times...…

So..., someone makes a wild as guess and points their thumb in the air and says, they think 1% of the population has it............ fear selling news outlets sell a 100,000 Ohio residents have the virus!!! And a poster here parrots the misleading statistic.

Are we not tough strong Americans anymore?
Do we get political credit for being the first to sensationalize bad news?

Her calling Ohio a "community" is a stretch. Logically if an area the size of Ohio is a "community" then why can't we call the whole USA a "community"? So 329,000,000 X .01 = 3,290,000 have the virus? Perhaps some day that will happen but at this point in time that is ludicrous IMO!

One of our daughters commutes from her home in Maryland to an office in downtown Washington DC. Via Metro. Always a high risk for infectious disease, lots of people and close quarters and different every day. Her company told everyone today to start working from home immediately. They travel globally, so their laptops are set up to be part of the office network no matter where they are. Easy for them to do. Not easy for a whole bunch of people with different jobs though.

These days about the only schools that don't have some sort of online classrooms are the really backwards ones with no technology departments...

Dial in networks have been around since the late 80's and available to anyone with a hard wire modem...didn't matter where...the technology is not new...

Advancements in video tech have made it possible to view lectures on demand...so it's even easier than reading transcripts...

While connectivity is not a new idea, you have to have the course material on-line before anyone can even attempt to access them. That's the bottleneck, not the technology to do it.
