More people are starting home gardens to address possible FOOD SHORTAGES due to the coronavirus pandemic NaturalNews.com
Over this weekend, and yes keeping safe distance. I and the neighbor put in a mere 40x300 foot garden plot on his homestead. We had a great time e joying the outdoors, getting the soil turned and a few of the tough spots worked out. He'll be placing a mixture of horse & chicken compost onto the tilled area. Let it sit a few days maybe a rain, then we'll till one more time to balance the soil with the compost.
And that's how as a community in my area we are fighting the dumb life-threatening virus with all this time-off.
Some say, if the virus doesn't get you, the food shortages will. WHY? Borders are closed to allow migrant workers in the fields to get things going.
We are planting KALE like never before. Kale has a good level of Vitamin K2. Add that to getting sunlight D3 and you're strong to boost the immune system making the virus a wimp.
Or while supplies last NOW brand has vitamin D3+K2 supplement. I like to get my vitamins from what is grown, but it depends on what's in season.
Another great fighter against this virus is Echinacea Root extract. It knocks the socks of influenza, HIV and SARS.

Illness including SARS & MERS.
I'm not in zone-7 or hotter, but this would be awesome!

Licorice Root Fights MERS and SARS Viral Infections | Journal of Plant Medicines
There are about 12 other plants and herbs that can be grown to DEFEAT this dumb virus. We are a tractor forum, we have a great advantage to help our nations recover and get back to a normal life once again.
Can Herbs Be Used Against the Wuhan Coronavirus? - It's Raining Deals
The GreenMedInfo article listed extensive research that proves that certain plant medicines can fight viruses similar to the Wuhan Coronavirus. These include SARS, MERS, and Ebola. Research conducted over the past two decades. We discussed Red Algae and Licorice Root in a previous page, but there were 33 other plants researched specifically for their potential value against coronaviruses SARS and MERS. And, of the 33 plants,
15 inhibited replication of both coronaviruses. I think this is huge. It means we have ways to protect ourselves, even without a commercial answer.
The coronavirus-inhibiting plants include Amaryllis (Hippeastrum hybrid), Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis), Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus), Red spider lily (Lycoris radiate), and Leek (Allium porrum). Some others are Ramsons (Allium ursinum), Taro (Colocasia esculenta), Cymbidium orchid (Cymbidium hybrid), and Twayblade (Listera ovata), as well as Broad-leaved helleborine (Epipactis helleborine), Tulip (Tulipa hybrid), Black mulberry tree (Morus Nigra), Tobacco plant (Nicotiana tabacum), and Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica).
Yes, you read correctly. Tobacco can inhibit viruses. No one is advocating you smoke or chew, but if there were a major spread of cases, I wouldn't turn my nose up at anything that could help!
