Pretty tough to fabricate a product if you can't get the material needed.

The past 2 weeks we have, for the most part shut down from working. Probably be another 3 weeks at a minimum before we go back. My wife decided to fill her time making masks to donate to our local hospital. She has been doing it 10 hrs a day for 3 days. Made 250 of them..... This is how I know she is a better person than I am....

Bless her heart!

Yep. Weæ±*e also cooking mostly at home but I致e done a couple of big takeout orders this past week. Chinese, Thai and Indian food do well as leftovers so I make a big order and get 3-4 meals out of one trip.

Good idea IT.

Ford, GE and 3M are working together to get ventilators ramped up in the Ford plant (s)

Also apparently face shields and masks too.

I really don't get the point of constantly posting doom and gloom stories. I was all negative about this for a long time, but then realized there is nothing I can do to change the outcome other than to maintain social distancing like I have been. I stay isolated on our property with my boys whilel my wife goes to work as a pharmacist each day (very high exposure).Yeah, this sucks, but it's out of our hands what the government does, the virus does, and what our fellow man does. Stop spending your time worrying so much is what I would suggest.

Great post that mirrors my experience and change of mind. I had some secondary exposure from members from the local church that was the first known vector of the corona virus in our town/county. The odds where very low but my concern was passing it to my wife who like your wife is part of the healthcare system. A few days later the news broke that a friend of the church visitor who works as floor nurse at the hospital tested positive then I became concerned even more about the corona virus.

Then it dawned on me many in our area now have some level of risk daily. It still concerns me every day when I drive her to the hospital that another shoe may drop any day.

Live goes on. Back in Feb we got stocked up so we would not starve for a couple months or run out of TP. I have gone through my supplements and restocked especially on the ones thought be be antiviral.

UPS arrived with more when I was typing the above and I am just now finishing this post. Our daughter's truck was the closest to the house so I dumped all of the boxes of supplements in the back of her truck setting in full sun and set all of the items out on the black bed liner for a while and put the boxes into the trash cart.

While I can see this being a 6-18 month event with a few hundred thousands of death I can also see the trees are leaving out and it 85F yesterday and still 77F at this hour. Events like this has been happening well before history has started recording them and the earth is still spinning and the end of mankind as not happened yet.

Yes I am concerned about the virus which I can do little about as I the dangerous weather forecast for this weekend in the central USA.

Life is full of speed bumps so maybe we need to slow down a bit.
