Corpse Flower

Saw and smelled one of these several years ago at the Huntington Gardens in So. Calif. The smell was awful and the flower drew thousands of people over two days. People would hold their breath....come in and look....and high tail it out......pretty funny.

How awful is the smell? :laughing::laughing::laughing: Does it really smell like something that has died and rotted?

I would like to see and smell this flower one day. Would love to take the kids and surprise them....

I saw Durians in one of the Asian markets one year. They were frozen and I was tempted to buy one but I heard they were not as good frozen compared to fresh. :laughing::laughing::laughing: But I was surely tempted. I should go back and buy one to see what the kids think...
