The manual states the fluid level should be b/w the mark on dip stick and lower end of the dip stick. The only "mark" I see on the dip stick is the etched last 1/4". So is the correct fluid level up to but not above the etched end section of the dip stick?

I think that's the correct level. My 2120 has a similar dipstick and it just not what we're used to. It does make sense, in a way: if you see nothing wet, you know it's low. You just don't know HOW low and that's annoying.

i ran mine with oil tot he level of the mark on the short stick, when on level ground.

never had an issue.

DO NOT overfill.
