correct gear lube

Read about bone chilling temps in Florida?? This is a post hole digger...no? less wear at startup... what start-up?:confused2:
getting deep here... real deep here.... need high boots.

startup, as when the gears start spinning. the syn lube 75w90 will have a better protective film on the gears than a dino 80w90 or 85w140

not deep.. just minutia. I was telling the guy his 75w90 was a fine oil for what he wants to use it.. after some other poster said it would not be a good choice.. and partially because of cold weather.. go figure!

awe heck.. I'm outta here. the guy can load it with marshmellows at this point.. I have no dog in the hunt.

the old gear fluid properties down south vs up north is a big deal. You need a synthetic oil since in NY it will get down to about -30F...Florida people whine about +15F..boo hoo! LOL...

I also live in TX and I love to grill in the winter..I was grilling, last snow storm with 2+ feet of snow...

Winters down south do not get it...summer up here in Northeast are not ever close to down south..

that's exactly my point about the syn fluid. 75w90 syn will be PERFECT for his application.
