I have leaking fluid right at the left wheel where the rim appears to mount to the hub? What specific fluid is used and is a simple fix?

New Holland 134 hydraulic oil, or any fluid meeting the MC134D specification. Your hub seal is leaking. Replacing the seal is not a difficult repair, and even if you have damaged axle bearings, a person with average mechanical ability and experience should be able to accomplish the repair.

Thanks for the help. I tried to upload a picture. If it doesn't load i will try to describe it. the fluid is leaking between the round hub that the rim mounts to, and the stationary part where it appears you can add fluid by removing a 13-15mm bolt?
We still talkin about the same item being worn Rick B? Hub Seal? Is it just an O ring or is it a special dealer item? Does that fluid also work for the rest of the hydraulics on this tractor? Thank again

Same spec oil is used throughout that tractor except in the crankcase & radiator. The seal is a dealer item, or so I suspect. Have your dealer print out the parts diagram for the final drive and the repair is pretty much self-explanatory.

you can get an idea of the assy by going to the nh parts site and pulling up the exploded diagram ( has parts lists too.. )
