Did you find a Kubota locally that was comparable to Corriher's NH pricing or just decided you'd prefer a Kubota? Pound for pound (so to speak) NH and Kubota are priced about the same here. I'm not partial to either yet (only a slight preference for Kubota and only since I'm a little more familiar with them).

i liked the kubota better. i also found a model i was considering one year old with 36 hours and saved about $4000. that made it an easy choice.

i don't think you will go wrong with either. my understanding is- all major parts that go into a kubota are mfg by kubota. most brands outsource many parts. not really sure that makes a difference but i liked the fact the kubota made the "whole" tractor to a degree.

i will point out that the kubota dealer was much better to work with when shopping. the nh dealer closest to my home was actually $4000 higher than corrihers pricing. i'm sure my dealings with the local dealers had some bearing on my decision.

the kubota dealer was still cool after i told him i bought a nice used machine. he asked about the deal and said he would have bought it too.

Yeah I guess. :)
We have a few dual brand (NH/Kubota) dealers here so that's why I was wondering.
Thanks.

If they are priced the same and you haven't yet decided, you really need seat time on both. The ergonomics of a tractor is very important if you are going to be spending time on them. I thought I was sold on a Kubota L3830 until I drove the Case DX35. The Case was much more comfortable for me. I do not like the Kubota seats and set up nearly as much. Drive before you buy.

I haven't bought and they are not priced the same. The TC30 is thousands less than any 30hp tractor by Kubota, at least locally. I do intend to familiarize myself with it as much as possible prior to purchase.

Funny, as a dealer of both brands I can tell you that Kubota is the cheaper of the two tractors.

Neil...Corrihers advertises the TC30 gear for 11K...So I assume that you can sell the Kubota L2800 gear for less??? If so that's a heck of a value...

Many of your posts point out why Kubotas have the advantage over New Holland...
I bet you don't sell many New Hollands.
