Not sure what got ahold of this drain plug! I think it looks worse than it is. Not leaking any. I assume it is a tapered thread, so it seals on the threads and not the "rim". The allen innerds should still be fine best I can tell.

Since it's behind the "split pin" I also assume that it is HST/hydraulic. I'll replace it at the next (due soon) HST fluid change, if only I can find the Kubota p/n and afford it. Whattya figure, about $25?

The plug on the right with the paint scraped off is a plastic plug just keeping dirt out of the tapped hole like the other 3 , The drain plug is the recessed one in the center

I believe that is the remnants of a plastic plug they stick in tapped holes, as Peter has said. The plugs keep paint from getting in and coating the threads when the engine/trans is painted, and they will keep crap out afterwards. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Do what IH did back in the 50s...stick a cork in it.
