found this and the local salvage yard while there on Monday, i thought might be useful some day, it came of a commercial type Aerator like in the picture, it was used to lift and lower the core/spike deck,
Been thinking about whether I would need it on my tractor? I've seen them on one side of the lift arm to easily adjust the pitch of an implement through hydraulics without getting off the tractor, although not sure if it feasible to go through the effort:cool:
if one were to use this would I pull hydraulic supply from the loader controls?
I have the one dump line that is currently fed back into the reservoir, although I don't think it has much pressure on this line, there was Talk of a Power beyond port on the loader control when I was going through installing the FEL onto my tractor, perhaps this would be where need to pull supply from?

I don't think you will ever find a use for it. Being a nice guy, send it to me so that it does not clutter your garage. :D

A very short stroke wood splitter?

Maybe use it to raise/lower the tires on a pull-disc, or the spikes on a spike harrow? Or tip a dump trailer? Maybe lift or angle a front snowplow blade? Since it includes the control valve it should be simple to install.

I have the same thing stock on my Iseki. It is great. I can put any implement on even if it is on uneven ground. It also makes putting the first arm on easy because you can raise the adjustable one up out of the way so you can move the unmovable one up and down to fit first. It is also good when using a blade. If you slant the blade it is easy to adjust it back to follow the ground.

Would be useful I think. Depends on how much you use implements, of course.

all good idea's it cost me 30.00 bucks so I figure I'd go ahead and grab it up ;),
at first I thought maybe try to my hand at building a 3 pnt wood splitter but the ram is only 9" plus I couldn't be sure how much pressure it could produce? the next idea was to put it on the lift arms as mentioned, But what if it produces too much pressure and extends too far and bust the lift arm
I'm still thinking :D if anyone else local needs one of these things there was another machine just like it setting right beside the one got this one from,

uh Deepy .... :D

I expect it only has a few hundred lbs force considering its original application. I doubt it would work for a wood splitter but it should be great for the other suggestions above.

ooops! OK I fixed it  I'm in need of a new avitar also, coming soon:D

Some guys use them for the top link. It would be as handy there as on the arm. I sure wish I had both.
