found this and the local salvage yard while there on Monday, i thought might be useful some day, it came of a commercial type Aerator like in the picture, it was used to lift and lower the core/spike deck,
Been thinking about whether I would need it on my tractor? I've seen them on one side of the lift arm to easily adjust the pitch of an implement through hydraulics without getting off the tractor, although not sure if it feasible to go through the effort
if one were to use this would I pull hydraulic supply from the loader controls?
I have the one dump line that is currently fed back into the reservoir, although I don't think it has much pressure on this line, there was Talk of a Power beyond port on the loader control when I was going through installing the FEL onto my tractor, perhaps this would be where need to pull supply from?

If your loader valve has a power beyond port, yes, that is where you would want to power up your cylinder.

OK .... so please let me ask this question, the pump used for this cylinder was what looked to be nothing more that a car style power steering pump if not was one! it had a pressure connection with high pressure hose and apparently a return back to the pump reservoir that had no pressure because this line was simply held on with a hose clamp, I know the line coming into the control (pressure side)would need to come from the PB, but would the return line from the new added control be simply dumped into the tractors reservoir? or would I need to tap into the return line again as I did when connecting the FEL?

been trying the cylinder on for size and the length would be just the right size to fit between the upper and lower arms with it all the way retracted in,
although my way of thinking is the part the hoses are connect to should be connected to the upper lift arms to prevent hoses stretch or kinking, however it is the ram end of the cylinder that has the threaded/removable end that I can change out to a Ball connector easily and slip it right over the upper pin, doing so this way would have the hoses at the bottom and may cause the problem I mentioned, I do realize that the upper lift arms are going to create some hose movement although not as much if the hoses have to be on the bottom,
anyone with any ideas to resolve this issue? How much heat can this thing withhold before doing damage to seals? i suppose I could cut the end off and weld on the Ball & socket to the cylinder end of the unit?
