Mad you seem like the kind of guy who would appreciate what I'm going to do. I don't like the idea of a DPOCV because of the cylinder pressures that can develop with cold oil. I've seen cylinders blow their guts in my business without purging the oil over tool circuits until warm when temperatures get below 20 degrees F even in the South. I'm going to fabricate steel tubes into counter balance valves on the barrels. I want her to stay up until I'm ready for her to come down. Don't worry I'll get pressure readings up to and including relief pressure so I won't break weldments. Don't be MAD at old Ob1..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can for short.... (because I don't know what the rest of it stands for) they make a real mess. I found this out when I was an engineer ( young nieve engineer) with Grove Crane assigned to the test track one day when a group of engineers decided to purposely pick a load that knowingly would rupture the lift cylinder hose ( where the fuse was installed in series with that circuit) they were using on a RT model. I still remember getting the oil soak, and everybody laughing about it at my expense. I'm going to be working under the bucket doing my own rigging on my Farm for time to time and I don't want my wife to collect my million $ life insurance policy and I hope State Farm reads this post so if they won't think I committed suicide. That's why I'm going with counter balance valves with steel lines mounted to the loader's lift cylinders. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Thanks for your suggestion it's a very credible alternative, but I don't like to take a bath until Saturday night......Just kidding guy...
