I'll bet the math number is very close to the real number. All quantifiable items and known weights.

I was told there would be no math!

13 bags of concrete - 1040lbs
1 4x8 sheet of 12ga - 140lbs
6 pcs of 3/8pl 4x30 - 76lbs

Total 1257lbs plus the weight of water added to concrete.

I googled scales and there are "crane scales" out there to rent but they start about $145 per day. Math is close enough, ha.

If you haven't poured the concrete yet, consider concrete pavers instead. You can easily add/remove weight for the task at hand or empty the box fully making it easy to move around and store when not needed.

My box, total weight including concrete is just approximately 500 lbs and balances nicely on my B series. Welded a receiver hitch at the bottom and as others have suggested mounted PVC for holstering rakes and or shovels
Ha take that neighbors in suburbia. A Kubota with a cab. Bet you're jealous riding around on your little zero turns.

My local gravel yard has said they are happy to let people use their scales for free for weighing whatever as long as as they don't block sales traffic.

Fallon, the problem for me is there isn't one close to me. Soooooo by the time I load the truck with a weight bucket, go and get on the scales and return home to unload the weight bucket I would have to consider how much fuel used (weight) and guesstimate the weight of the bucket. Still checking around with friends to see who might have a scale. Thank you though for the good suggestion.

You can buy and maybe rent a scale that hooks to a chain. Pick up the box with a loader and chain with the scale in the middle. Subtract the weight of the chain and it's pretty close.
