County Tax Maps

The county next to the one where we live now has their plat maps online. It's pretty neat, becayse they've taken aerial photographs of the county and the lot lines and dimensions are drawn in. It let's you zoom in far enough to indentify vehicles in the driveway.

Here's a view of the bustling Lake Milton metropolitan area.

Since we live on the county line, I was able to scroll over far enough to view our property, without the lot lines. Note the infamous willow tree in the front yard. The picture was taken early spring 2004.

Ours has it so that if you click on one of the plats, it shows you who owns it and gives you all sorts of other info, too.

Yes, that is correct. That's how this one works in the next county over. Too bad our county is still in the 20th century. They finally got a web page though.

My county has a similar web site. I'll tell ya what though. It sure is gettin old, havin' to buy all that red spray paint to touch up my property lines. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Our county has offered this for some time. The newest aerial photos were taken in 2000. This is our place as seen in 2000

They also take an identifying photograph. The olny thig you CAN identify is that there's a house back there somewhere. Oh yeah you can identify a nice Japanese maple in there too /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Inspector I thought you had a BUNCH of land like 20 something acres? hum

anyhow how about a link to the OHIO ones? I don't know if ashland county has them online yet but got really OLD copies of arial photos when I bouthg the place when it was still a christmas tree farm back in 63 I think.
