Couple questions about my new CK27.

I am surprised that the CK27 doesn't have a horn, the 20 does the switch is by the signal light actuater. Craig

Ya. No horn and no tilt steering. Which is ok cause the steering wheel position is perfect.

I think horns are on units destined for outside the U.S. (mostly). Seems they may be a requirement in some countries. I do wish mine had one, and a kill switch too (another of those mistery options).

Some of the CK's have a backup light (manual trannies only???). Others may not have, and one of those connectors may be for that. There is also a "user circuit" with dedicated fuse in the fuse panel under there. This is perfect for user installed lights. do a search for add-on lights here and in customizations and you'll find all sorts of lighting ideas.

What, no tilt steering or horn on CK27? They are standard equipment on Bobcat version. Horn is pretty wimpy sounding but it is there.

Did'nt work to good with my horses though, think they figered the FEL was BIG feed bucket!!

The plugs are removed from the loader valve ports on the tractor when the dealer installs the loader.
The QD's are installed in their place.
They would only be used if you completely removed the loader, as in to sell it.

The wires are an extra circuit.

I believe they do. Mine has rear facing work lights mounted on the sunshade. My dealer installed those options before delivery so I cannot be absolutely sure the wiring was standard. Mine has the light switch near my right shin, between ignition and floor.

Not all have it. And the CK27's do have tilt steering. Though I've never considered that option all that useful. Others think it's a must. I'd rather have the shut off and horn, or factory roll bar lighting.

Just out of curiosity my hour gauge is 5 digits and says "2" I figured that meant 2 hours. Is that correct or is it .2?

There's no tenths on the hour meter, that means 2 hours. My CK 30 came with 3. I also don't have a horn but I read in another thread that the CK 35 does. They obviously make changes for different markets. My dealer added 2 work lights facing the back and two facing the front but he didn't use the extra circuit.

My dealer did the same, but with only one light. I still have one set of wires available. (DK 35) unless prior to the dealer installing the light, there was 2 sets of wires.
