Highbeam,

I'm not sure on the South Bend loaders. When I originally was looking at the NH tractors they had some with SMC labeled loaders that were a little less money then the NH loaders. I was told by the salesman that SMC makes the loaders for NH but they can get them cheaper from SMC directly. I did a quick search and this looks like SMC site which must be part of Alamo. On the "oem" section they show a NH labeled loader.

I was wrong. After looking at the SMC site and not seeing the Kioti CK's listed I went back and looked at the Cowlitz Tractor site and they have the Servis loaders which look to be the same as a Rhino.

You are your best judge of what you need.

We could waste hours on the phone chit chatting about what is in stock, and my favorite
complete waste of time, 'prices' but the fact is, until you actually see and drive them all the chit
chat is completely irrelevant.

I again realized I am glad to have NOT bought my Kioti there.
Whatever prejudices and/ or observations your extensive "sales knowledge" lends your business- all I can suggest is turning over your sales operations to those whom are "up" with the computer age coupled w/ old fashioned values.
I got chumped- plain and simple and knew exactly what tractor I was going to buy...the "tire kicking" was over.

I was OK with this thread being dead and gone...LOL /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

After years in the sales business, I'm just getting used to buying (or at least shopping) on the Internet or by telephone. I live in Dallas and recently shopped for my wife a new car. Bought a car from the Internet guy in a local dealership. Made the deal over the phone after him leading me through the list of accessories (selling me off a couple of items, if you can imagine that!) and drove up and bought that afternoon. No change in terms or price. After reading you comments, I think that the dealers (auto or tractor) should give a price range for their product if they think they're being shopped and then it's up to the buyer to go in if the seller is in range. When I bought my Kioti 3054 I reversed the process; I went in to the dealership and polished up the final terms over the phone.

The REASON Cowlitz Tractor screened customers shopping for prices is something like this: When we signed an agreement to sell Kioti and Branson tractors we took on a LEGALLY BINDING agreement to provide new tractor sales to people with in our own AOR. AOR is; Area of Responsibility. I was not going to cut some other dealer off at the feet in a price shopping war. There is absolutely no honor is hurting other dealers by cutting prices. For what? To make a few bucks? Not my style. Those people have families too. So people from out of my AOR always were priced at the MSRP, which is actually required in our contract. We cannot offer discounts with out risking losing the dealership, and your lousy couple hundred bucks that we make after taxes and BS,, just isn't worth it.

Sorry Mr. Tractor Legend You don't know what you are talking about when it comes to dealships. When a dealership is doing it right, this is the result, not everyone will think you are a hero, but the fact is, I didn't screw anyone over just to make a couple bucks. But what you posted here is libelous and slander...

As is what Mr Leonard (Jinma 354) posted,, but the feds are having their way with him now. And I didn't have to say a word, amazing how Karma works.

Yes, I know. But as a matter of principle, it needed to be addressed, later is better than never sometimes.
Especially in situations where no matter the year, the buying process continues. And out there in the world there are still some dealers that do still follow the rules and beleive in taking the high ground. Even when it is the road less travelled. Isn't it better for people to realize that dealers are also human beings, and that some of us won't play the game of cutting other peoples throats for a few bucks. If they will do it to their peers, they will quickly do it to a stranger/customer too... I would rather look like a fool posting late then just some A-hole that wouldn't wheel and deal with a guy from 80 miles away. My posting this late will hopefully prevent some other good person from being trashed, for doing the right thing.
