I have 3 White German SHepards I ve had their bloodline for several years and know about the shedding. in the sprintime its funn to watch the mocking birds and other birds rob hair off the old dogs back and put it into her nest. The bad part about it is the female and her 5 month old pup share the same bed. Talk about bed hogs. THey keep the coyotes away and help manage the goats to.

amazingly you can find the larger breeds that just outgrow their owners homes. I rescued Clifford, a english mastiff who now weighs a solid 220 lbs...a gentle giant, at first didnt know his own strength. A very intimidating dog when he gets excited but very trust worthy and loyal....Coyotes no problem, but any dog can get hurt by a Coyote....
