Cr 940 Combine

I Have a cr 940 combine and was bringing it down the road this moring and it was doing fine and all of a sudden it just started slowing down and wouln't go , so i put it down into 1st gear and it would go some but not like it's suppose to and got it off the road, it want go at all when its in any of the other gears, but it'll do fine when its in reverse and all the gears will work and everything. if sumbody has any idea what could be the problem please reply. Thanks

Sounds as if the forward relief valve has failed open, or is cracking way too low.
