hi looking at buying a gt 3000 23 vtwin its green is there any major problems with these an what year did the green colour come out

Father in law had one.I would guess it was bought about ten years ago. It was decent. Deck was on the lightweight side. It also had the hand control for the hydro. I did not care for that. It ended up catching fire in the driveway, but that could have been neglect and not the mowers fault.

this one is a 23hp with blower an rototiller with motor mounted right on tiller she wants 1800 wondering if its a good buy

The tiller is worth about as much as the tractor. I have not seen the condition, but I would think that is top dollar. That tractor was only about $2000 new.

I have a GT 3000 that I got about 2 years ago for $650 ( was asking $800) from some guy who had only a quarter acre , big tractor for such a small property I think; anyway, he was moving and wanted to get rid of it quick. The problem was it had a gas tank leak. It is a bigger riding mower with the tank under the seat.I got a new tank from Sears but does anyone have any advice on removing and replacing the tank rear fender seat etc? I was reading an earlier thread that someone said it was made by John Deere for Sears. Anyone have any info on that cross over model?
