"They move dirt more efficiently than a regular box blade. When it's filled and you are at your destination you just pull the handle and it releases and rolls over, dumping the load all at once. No need to slow down or stop, just circle around and get another load. Best in loose soil.

Oh, and, great haul on the RO blade for $200 quid. Even a little banged-up it should pay itself over.

Ah, the number of times I've found something too good to be true on CL. You can just never know what some yokel offers up for peanuts just to be rid of it.......nor can you always spot the corn-holer looking to scam you out of your last paycheck.

Never know, never know.......

Boy that's an understatement when dealing with Craigslisters

I see the word "DOG" in the photo.....did a search and came up with the site below. Looks to be a nice craigslist find.

I have looked at a rollover a few weeks ago but did not know if it would work as well as a regular box blade. What are your opinions.

I've found location of the item on Craigslist has tremendous impact.

I've listed items with full description and pictures and received many inquires... even people asking me to wait because they were coming right over with cash and no one ever showed... and I mean ever.

I mentioned this to my brother who lives 10 minutes away in the county and not in the city like I do and he said his friends do real well on Craig's List...

So I gave it a try... put the item at my brothers address and told people I would only be available on Saturday morning... no other time.

Everything sold every time... usually to the first person that arrived... so many people would show that my brother was tired of answering the door to tell them the car had been sold.

They were all clean, inexpensive and good running vehicles with current tags and smog certificates.

On one car, I noticed the buyer lived very close to me and I told him that I had the car listed and no came to look at it... he said he wouldn't have come either if it was for sale in the city because all the good stuff is out in the suburbs??? go figure...

I did pick-up a 3 point chipper for $200 on Craig's List... had to drive to the middle of no where to get it... probably why it was still there.

Since getting my rollover my boxblade sits in the weather rusting. IMHO there is no comparison.

Thank you. You have made my decision. I asked about a roll over blade around a month ago and got no response so I did did not buy it. It is a Bush Hog 65" and is now down to $400.00. I am going to make an offer of $300.00. He wanted $500.00 when I first looked at it. It is in great shape. I wanted a 6 footer but I can live with one that 7" narrower for the price. That equates to three and a half inched one side. I would have bought it for $500.00 but wz unsure if I wanted it or how a roll over performed. Thanks so much for your response.

Sorry that I did not see your post last month, I would have responded then. what section did you post in? Anyway, roll over box blades are very nice. Some people feel that they are better than any other box blade. They are the first deluxe type box blade that I know of. You will not go wrong in purchasing one. Good luck with it and post some pictures once you have it.
