These are my latest score, I got four without the plastic container for $25 ea. They were $40 ea with the container if I remember correctly.

Nice! I'd like to have some of those for wood management too.

The thing about scoring on craigslist is you need to be on it a lot, be willing to travel a few miles, and have the cash in your pocket ready to go at a moments notice when those good deals pop up.

You've got that right! The day before I found the above mentioned rotary cutter, I missed a 6' RFM, 7' rear blade, 6' snow blower AND an old 2wd tractor for a grand only 10 miles from me. I usually check the listings at night, for some reason I skipped that night and looked in the morning and have been kicking myself since

I also agree with this. This is the truth. I have a couple of scores...got the 5' Ford blade for $150. Though it is a pretty light duty blade, it serves my purposes nicely. And I got the '97 F150 for $1500. It is clean, no rips in the seat or cracks in the dash, runs great, in good shape. A great extra vehicle/weekend hauler.

I missed out on one guy giving away a fertilizer spreader... looked new, not the round ones but the much larger square hopper.

I did buy a 4' spike aerator and a rear blade for $60 - same thing, he wanted $50 for the pair... my subject line in the e-mail was, "will pay you $60". Sold the 4' aerator for $260 when I got a 5' one for $100.

Once I got the 7610 I stated hawking craigslist religiously for attachments. The search [2 years] paid-off in the form of a two wheel farm trailer [$50 / 15 miles out], a like-new, heavy-duty, Landpride box blade [$340 / 20 miles], and a bonafide York rake with scarifier and gauge wheels [$350 / 50 miles]. As mentioned earlier, the ability to act quickly and to transport the item yourself is key to these purchases

I got 3 Kubota suitcase weights-55lbs each-for $75. I think $75 each is the dealer price.
